Bitching Brew

I concede - sometimes political correctness does go wild.

I have no option but to link to this post from Michelle Malkin, a blogger I profoundly disagree with. I've no option because it's a brilliant spot.

CNN anchor Carol Lin referring to the two French teenagers of Tunisian descent whose death sparked the Paris riots as "African-American."

Let's be honest - that's a ridiculous slip of the tongue. 'African-American' is an adjective and noun that certainly has its rightful place... but that place is not in the smoking banlieues of Paris.

The rest of the post raises a snort too, especially the (apocryphal?) anecdote of Jay Leno's wife. Worth a read.
